Dubai Police issue warning to fans before Pakistan-India Asia Cup clash

Ahead of the much-anticipated Asia Cup 2025 clash between Pakistan and India, Dubai Police have issued a strict warning to cricket fans. In a statement, authorities made it clear that any form of violence, abusive language, or racist behaviour inside the stadium will not be tolerated.

The high-voltage encounter between the arch-rivals is scheduled to take place today at the Dubai International Stadium.

According to Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Dubai Police’s Events Security Committee, violators could face one to three months in jail along with fines ranging from AED 10,000 to AED 30,000 (PKR 750,000 to 2.3 million).

Dubai Police urged all spectators to uphold discipline and exhibit positive conduct throughout the match.

Any violation will result in immediate legal action to protect the safety of fans and preserve the stadium’s environment, according to the officials.
