Listen to article

Actor Ameer Gilani has expressed his joy after marrying fellow actor Mawra Hocane, sharing the first official pictures from their wedding.

The couple, who had been close friends and classmates before entering showbiz, surprised fans earlier this week with the announcement of their marriage.

On Friday, Gilani posted the intimate pictures on Instagram, captioning them “Got my Laila Alhamdulillah” alongside the couple’s hashtag, ‘Mawra Ameer Ho Gayi’.

The stunning photos, captured by photographer Izzah Shaheen Malik, showed the newlyweds in their wedding attire, with Hocane wearing a pastel pink ensemble by designer Sania Maskatiya and Gilani in a matching sherwani.

The couple had celebrated the occasion with a grand Shendi and Rukhsati event hosted by Hocane’s family.

Fans flooded the post with well-wishes for the newlywed duo, who have previously wowed audiences with their on-screen chemistry.
