Katie Maloney reflects on leaving ‘Vanderpump Rules’ before reboot

Katie Maloney, a famous TV personality, actress, and producer, recently revealed that she had decided to leave Vanderpump Rules well before the reboot.

On her podcast Disrespectfully, Maloney claimed that she was all set to leave Vanderpump Rules ahead of Bravo’s (media company) announcement regarding the show’s reboot.

The 37-year-old reality star quipped, “You know — as [well as] many people close to me — I didn’t plan on returning.”

She explained her choice not to come back after 11 seasons by articulating, “Maybe it doesn’t matter at this point, but I had made a decision months ago after this past season.”

Maloney added, “I mean, I just needed to move on with my life. And this is before we knew the show was gonna be put on pause, before any of that.”

Moving forward, the co-owner of Something About Her said she decided to leave Vanderpump Rules after the season 11 reunion, mentioning that she made this choice before the show was “put on pause.”

She highlighted, “I had talked to our producers about it, and I told them my decision on that,” adding, “I felt personally ready to move on from the show. I felt like my life and where I was at was moving in a different direction. Mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, I was prepared to move on from the show.”

It is pertinent to mention that while on the show, Maloney tied the knot with her costar Tom Schwartz in 2016.

However, after four years of their marriage, the couple filed for divorce in 2022, and following their separation, Maloney started exploring the dating scene in later seasons.
