Olivia Culpo reveals physical challenges she faced in first 4 months of pregnancy

Olivia Culpo on difficulties early in pregnancy

Olivia Culpo got candid on the difficulties she faced during the first four months of her pregnancy.

The actress and model may be glowing now, but her pregnancy journey didn’t exactly start off on an easy note.

The former Miss Universe, who is expecting her first child with husband Christian McCaffrey, recently shared that her first trimester had her sidelined—literally.

“I couldn’t workout the first 4 months of my pregnancy (not even walking),” she revealed in a March 12 Instagram Story.

But now that she’s further along, the 32-year-old is finally getting back to her fitness routine.

Sharing a gym selfie with her trainer, Marissa West, Olivia—dressed in a sleek black workout set that highlighted her growing baby bump—captioned the post, “So we’re making it really count now.”

This pregnancy has been a particularly special milestone for Olivia, who previously opened up about her fertility concerns due to her 2020 endometriosis diagnosis.

“It could be really hard for me to have babies,” she shared on a 2022 episode of The Culpo Sisters, adding that she felt a “looming timeline” when it came to starting a family.

“There is so much that I don’t know about what’s going to happen in the future with that condition and I worry all the time about my timeline,” she explained at the time. “I feel like I have to have kids ASAP.”

Thankfully, Olivia’s dream of becoming a mom came true last year, though she kept the news under wraps until March 10. And, according to her sister Sophia Culpo, she went to great lengths to keep her growing belly a secret.

“Now you all know why her nickname is Oblivia,” Sophia joked in an Instagram Story, sharing a Christmas photo where Olivia strategically positioned her dog Oliver in front of her stomach. “She ain’t stealth.”

With the secret finally out, Olivia seems to be embracing every moment of her pregnancy—including those hard-earned gym sessions.
