Gold price hits record high of Rs428,200 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged to an all-time high on Monday, climbing by Rs5,500 to reach Rs428,200 from the previous day’s Rs422,700, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,715 to Rs367,112, up from Rs362,397, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs4,322 to Rs336,531 from Rs332,209.

In the international market, gold prices also advanced by $55, reaching $4,071 per ounce compared to $4,016 a day earlier.

Likewise, the price of per-tola silver went up by Rs 147 to Rs 5,247, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 126 to Rs 4,498. International silver prices stood at $51.60, showing an increase of $1.47.
